Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing optimal structural systems that align with client budgets and timelines while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team on various projects.
  • Engaging with the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) on healthcare design initiatives.
  • Working closely with a diverse team of professionals to ensure high-quality and well-coordinated engineering solutions.
  • Participating actively in project meetings throughout the design and construction phases, representing the firm and preparing comprehensive construction documents.
  • Conducting site visits to assess different facility types and addressing any issues that arise during the design or construction phases.
  • Managing projects efficiently through effective prioritization and scheduling of tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in an architectural and engineering environment focused on structural design.
  • A proven history of developing appropriate structural systems.
  • Experience in coordinating with various engineering disciplines.
  • Familiarity with building systems and construction methodologies.
  • Experience with Building Envelope systems.
  • Proficient in producing Revit and AutoCAD drawings, including:
    • Schematic Design Drawings
    • Design Development Drawings
    • Construction Documents
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple disciplines, including engineering and interior design.
  • Software Proficiency:
    • Autodesk Revit 2020
    • Autodesk AutoCAD 2022
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project)

  • Demonstrate focus, organization, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.

Compensation:

  • Annual salary range of $95,000 to $125,000.
