  • Design Excellence: Design optimal structural systems within client budgets and time constraints.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team on multiple projects.
  • Communication: Engage with all levels of the team to deliver high-quality, coordinated, and technically proficient structural design solutions.
  • Project Meetings: Actively participate in project meetings during both design and construction phases to represent the company.
  • Documentation: Prepare graphic and written construction documents.
  • Site Visits: Conduct and/or lead site visits to evaluate facility types, assess existing structural infrastructure, and address problems during design or construction.
  • Self-Management: Prioritize and schedule tasks effectively to manage projects independently.
  • Compliance: Ensure design adherence to Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) requirements for healthcare projects.


Required Experience:


  • Minimum 10 years in the A/E industry with a focus on structural design.
  • Proven ability to design within budget and time limitations.
  • Experience in senior living, healthcare, and multifamily projects, including new constructions and renovations.
  • Proficient in conducting site visits and solving on-site design and construction issues.
  • Must have P.E. certification.


Qualifications:


  • Licensed Structural Engineer with at least 10 years of industry experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed architect.
  • At least 2 years at the Project Architect level.
  • Proficiency in Revit (5-8 years experience) and AutoCAD (2022 version).
  • Skilled in producing schematic design drawings, design development drawings, and construction documents.
  • Experience with building systems, methods of construction, and building envelope.
  • Knowledgeable in coordinating with multiple disciplines including engineering and interior design.


Additional Notes:


  • $90,000 to $110,000 a year
  • If candidate has required P.E. certification and industry experience all rates are negotiable
