Job Summary:

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a skilled Paving Laborer to join our team. As a Paving Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various manual tasks associated with paving operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe work environment by identifying potential hazards and reporting incidents to management.
  • Participate in daily huddles and tool box talks to stay informed about project updates and safety protocols.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work site, including the loading and unloading of tools and equipment.
  • Operate a tack wagon and assist with MOT set up and flagging operations.
  • Back up dump trucks in a safe manner and ensure assigned equipment is properly maintained.
  • Conduct daily project inspections to ensure high-quality work and complete cleanup.

Requirements:

  • Safety and quality orientation.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain good health status.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal skills, with a commitment to teamwork and professionalism.
