Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Banking Center Associate to join our team at Great Southern Bank. As a key member of our banking center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing financial transactions, and maintaining the security of assigned cash.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the bank in a courteous and professional manner, demonstrating a thorough understanding of our 5 Winning Ways of Customer Service.
  • Provide product referrals and meet or exceed Secret Shop score expectations.
  • Process a variety of financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining the security of assigned cash and balancing each day's transactions.
  • Locate and document any cash differences, ensuring they are properly reviewed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer account information and security alarm codes.
  • Ensure full compliance with and implementation of all bank policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-6 months of related experience or training.
  • Prior banking or cash handling experience is preferred.
  • Basic experience with desktop/laptop computer, basic operating systems, and specialized software systems.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
