Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Cardiology Nurse to join our team at Penn State Health. As a Per Diem Cardiology Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in the patient's condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education to patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Requirements:
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- AHA BLS before the end of the orientation period.
