Job Title: Survey Department Manager

Job Summary:

EXP Global is seeking a highly skilled Survey Department Manager to lead our survey operations in the Chicago office. As a key member of our Infrastructure Transportation business practice, you will be responsible for managing survey projects, supervising survey crews, and collaborating with clients to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate survey projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Supervise and train survey crews, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Develop and implement survey methodologies and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in surveying technology.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in surveying, with a strong background in geomatics and geospatial technologies.
  • PLS certification and a degree in Survey & Geomatics or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Microstation/Geopak, and other survey software.
