Job Summary

Heritage Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic Program Manager for our Outpatient Department. If you have a passion for leading a team of professionals dedicated to the healing and health of our patients, we want to hear from you.

The Program Manager for Outpatient Services is responsible for the day-to-day clinical and personnel management at individual program sites. Under the supervision of the Director of Outpatient Services and in collaboration with the Program Director and clinical staff, this position assesses, develops, implements, and evaluates program philosophy, goals, objectives, and treatment interventions.

This position provides on-site leadership necessary for successful program development and maintenance through appropriate, organized, and program-focused activities. Our outpatient programs incorporate a range of services, including physician oversight, medication management, group therapy practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and clinical assistance tailored to help our clients achieve their treatment goals.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of social work or related field and licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in psychiatric/mental health field, with a minimum of two (2) years' experience in advanced clinical/management practice preferred
  • California Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a valid driver's license

Additional Requirements

  • A strong knowledge of JCAHO, NAPHS, Title XXII, CMS, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities
  • CPR certification, and successful completion of the hospital's designated behavioral and physical management training program, including de-escalation and appropriate use of seclusion and restraint required prior to assisting in the procedures
