Position Overview:
We are excited to offer a sign-on bonus of $2,000 for the Lead Specialist role. This position calls for your extensive experience and technical proficiency to effectively diagnose drivability and electrical systems. You will also leverage your leadership and mentoring abilities to guide a team towards enhanced customer service and satisfaction.
Compensation Structure:
$38.21 per hour. Our technicians benefit from a performance-based compensation model known as flat-rate pay. This approach rewards our skilled professionals with a set amount for each eligible task, promoting a culture of efficiency and rapid task completion, ensuring you are justly compensated for your expertise and commitment. These rates are reflective of average productivity across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair to specifications - including brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical systems, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
- Clearly articulate technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to individuals without mechanical backgrounds.
- Stay updated with the rapidly evolving automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
- Assist and mentor technicians/mechanics in executing technical tasks.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be capable of operating customer and company vehicles.
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational-Technical School program in a related field, or demonstrated skills through third-party certifications/assessments.
- A.S.E. certification in at least 5 (five) of A1-A8 (L1 can be one of the five) is mandatory. (New hires with equivalent external qualifications/certifications will have up to 2 years of employment to comply)
- Maintain Federal, State, and Local certification/license where applicable.
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
- Proficient reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
