Salary
The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This includes a comprehensive benefits package and equity in the company.
Job Description
As a Satellite Mechanical Design Specialist at K2 Space, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems for our spacecraft. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of these systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish product requirements, develop designs, and execute test campaigns.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 1+ years of experience with mechanical design and analysis software (such as CAD or FEA) is required. Additionally, you should have strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills, as well as an independent and self-motivated mindset.
