Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will perform essential front and back-office tasks.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering phone calls and managing data entry.
  • Assisting in patient examinations under physician supervision.
  • Conducting patient interviews and measuring vital signs.
  • Documenting patient information accurately.
  • Collecting blood and urine samples from patients.
  • Preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Administering various diagnostic tests.

Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly rates are determined by experience and education, with potential for quarterly bonuses.
  • Level I (0-1 years of experience with MA diploma) = $17.79 per hour
  • Level II (1-3 years of experience with MA diploma) = $19.66 per hour
  • Level III (3-5 years of experience with MA diploma) = $21.30 per hour
  • Level IV (5+ years of experience with National MA certification) = $23.70 per hour
  • Level V (10+ years of experience with an Associate's in Medical Assisting and National MA certification) = $25.89 per hour

The pay range for this position serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation. Additional factors influencing the offer may include job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and internal equity.

Typical Workday:
Initial training lasts three weeks. This position requires onsite presence at our clinic.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Graduation from an accredited vocational MA program or military equivalent.
  • Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting required for Level 5; additional experience may substitute for education.
  • 0-10 years of medical assisting experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED; additional experience may substitute for diploma.
  • National Medical Assistant certification required for Levels 4 and 5.
  • Experience in occupational medicine or general medical settings preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Experience with technology-driven medical data entry systems.

Additionally, candidates must be able to pass medical clearances as required.
