Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Tioga Community Care Center. This role offers both Part-Time and Full-Time shifts, providing flexibility to meet your needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the physical, emotional, and social requirements of residents.
- Review and ensure adherence to care plans, documenting all relevant medical records.
- Supervise the care provided by Nursing Assistants, offering guidance and educational support.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and maintain accurate records of orders.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current Louisiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Experience in long-term care is advantageous.
Additional Requirements
- Must not be excluded from Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- Maintain eligibility for participation in these programs throughout employment.
- Participate in pre-employment and annual Tuberculosis screenings.
