Job Summary:

Hetherington Therapy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As a pediatric SLP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to children in various settings, including homes, schools, and daycares.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and regular patient assessments and reassessments in a timely manner
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on evaluation and reassessment
  • Work with children with complex diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Monitor progress and modify plans as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • License or ability to become licensed in the state of Florida for Speech Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a pediatric setting
  • Experience with Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC)
  • At least 5 years of experience as a SLP, preferably in a home health setting
