We are seeking a skilled City Maintenance Technician to join our team in Edinburg, TX. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for operating a variety of light to heavy equipment, performing daily inspections, and ensuring equipment safety.

About the Role

This role involves coordinating maintenance and operation of city equipment, performing daily reports, and ensuring equipment safety. You will also be responsible for assisting other divisions within the department as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate light to heavy equipment for construction and industrial maintenance projects
  • Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Filling out daily reports and other forms for machinery use, service requests, and inventory control

This is a hands-on role that requires a strong background in construction equipment and industrial maintenance. If you have experience working with heavy machinery and enjoy being part of a team, we encourage you to apply.

Estimated Salary: $18.40/hour

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience with light, medium, and heavy equipment or vehicles
  • Current and valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement from Texas DPS
