CT Rad Technician PRN Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Rad Technician PRN to join our team at Retreat Doctors' Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

About the Role

This PRN opportunity offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to work on a part-time basis while maintaining a high level of job satisfaction. As a CT Rad Technician, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring accurate and efficient imaging procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal imaging
  • Ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures, adhering to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Participate in quality control and quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of patient care and imaging quality
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in radiology, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
