Position Title: Program Coordinator

Department: PDD

Reports To: Program Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

The Program Coordinator is accountable for the daily management and oversight of designated personnel and the routine operations of the program or unit. This role encompasses the supervision of patient activities and staff duties related to patient care, ensuring adherence to the treatment philosophy of Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. (TTC).

SALARY RANGE

$43.50 / per hour DOE

WORK HOURS

8 hours per day / 5 Days per Week

CATEGORIES OF DUTIES
  1. Oversee the supervision of assigned staff, which may include counselors, case managers, health educators, intake specialists, and other personnel as determined by the Director.
  2. Ensure staff and patient safety through effective management of facility maintenance.
  3. Conduct regular audits and maintain documentation in compliance with TTC policies and external regulations.
  4. Participate in the development and submission of various reports, including Continuous Quality Assurance and performance improvement reports.
  5. Engage in networking and outreach activities to expand referral resources.
  6. Attend mandatory training sessions and educational workshops.
  7. Participate in required staff meetings and maintain open communication with team members.
  8. Exhibit professionalism in conduct, attire, and communication, serving as a role model for staff and patients.
  9. Demonstrate full knowledge and support of the Agency's philosophy and objectives.
  10. Adhere to professional ethics and maintain patient confidentiality.
  11. Document services rendered in the medical record as appropriate.
  12. Participate in performance evaluations of interns and staff as needed.
  13. Attend clinical and administrative meetings as requested.
  14. Engage in community events and outreach on behalf of TTC.
  15. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Director or Administrator.
1. Daily Patient Operations
  • Manage patient flow and room assignments.
  • Supervise staff activities and schedules.
  • Conduct new patient orientations.
  • Oversee UA testing and reporting.
  • Identify and manage AMA risks.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of the environment.
  • Provide crisis management support as needed.
2. Staff Supervision
  • Orient new employees and provide ongoing training.
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
  • Support staff in their roles and assist with scheduling and evaluations.
3. Administrative Responsibilities
  • Participate in agency-wide committees and meetings.
  • Attend management meetings and training sessions.
  • Support the management team in resolving issues.
4. Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide staffing and crisis management support as required.
  • Collaborate with staff to uphold organizational goals and objectives.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma/GED required; higher education may be necessary based on contractual obligations.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
