Job Title: Registered Nurse

WellStar Health System, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Paulding Hospital.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our 28-bed Post Surgical Acute Care unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care using evidence-based practice.
  • Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics.
  • Partner with patients and significant others to set and achieve patient goals.
  • Practice using current clinical practice standards.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or Graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing.
  • Minimum 2 years direct patient care nursing experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English language.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
License and Certification:
  • Reg Nurse (Single State) Required.
  • RN - Multi-state Compact Required.
  • Basic Life Support Required.
