Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for providing individualized patient care and promoting a safe and respectful clinical environment. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the delivery of clinical care, using evidence-based practice and analytical/critical thinking.
  • Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics, adapting service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity.
  • Partner with patients and significant others, using appropriate methods for setting and achieving goals, and making patient goals the focus of the plan of care.
  • Practice using current clinical practice standards and coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care that promotes the professional care delivery model.
  • Participate in performance improvement, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care, and actively support shared governance at all levels in the system.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (instructor or provisional).
  • Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience (completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours).
