About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nephrology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide top-notch care and patient experience in our Nephrology department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with kidney-related conditions
  • Collaborate with our team of nephrologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in nephrology
Requirements
  • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of Montana
  • Prescriptive authority by the Montana State Board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA license
  • Current BLS certification
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of employment (site-specific)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
  • Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft products
