Job Title: Construction Supervisor

Contract: 24 Months

Location: Tampa, FL

Job/Role Description:
  • Lead and oversee solar and construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop comprehensive project schedules, resource plans, and budget forecasts to drive project success.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to align project objectives and expectations, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Manage and supervise all subcontractors, including mechanical, electrical, and civil teams, ensuring all work meets project specifications and safety standards.
  • Conduct daily job scope meetings and weekly progress reviews to address site concerns and strategize effective solutions, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct QA/QC inspections to ensure all work is performed according to blueprints and quality standards, maintaining the highest level of quality.
  • Lead safety meetings and enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices, prioritizing a safe working environment.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and making financial decisions to optimize project outcomes, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Handle RFIs, change orders, and other financial documentation to ensure accurate and timely project accounting, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Utilize ProCore software to manage all project documentation, including site photos, daily reports, and safety records, streamlining project management.
  • Ensure that all necessary paperwork, such as equipment inspections and inventory reports, is completed accurately and on time, maintaining compliance and efficiency.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Proven experience in construction and solar project management, with a strong track record of successfully completed projects, demonstrating expertise and leadership.
  • Extensive knowledge of solar energy systems, construction methodologies, and heavy equipment operation, ensuring a deep understanding of project requirements.
  • Certifications in Superintendent Management, OSHA 10 & 30, CPR AED, and Green Awareness, demonstrating a commitment to safety and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency with Procore software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Smartsheet, ensuring seamless project management and communication.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, showcasing adaptability and resilience.
Experience:
  • Over 5 years of experience in the construction and solar industries, including roles such as Project Superintendent, Site Superintendent, and Construction Manager, demonstrating a strong track record of leadership and project management.
  • Significant hands-on experience managing solar installations ranging from 5MW to 200MW, showcasing expertise in project execution and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee complex projects involving multiple subcontractors and teams, ensuring effective collaboration and project delivery.
Education:
  • GED in General Education Development, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and personal development.
  • Relevant certifications and training in project management, safety, and heavy equipment operation, ensuring a commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
