Job Title: Environmental Monitoring Technician II

PharmaForce (Ohio) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Monitoring Technician II to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Environmental Monitoring Technician II will be responsible for performing environmental monitoring activities, including sampling of air, water, and surfaces, to ensure the quality and safety of our pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform environmental monitoring activities, including sampling of air, water, and surfaces, to ensure the quality and safety of our pharmaceutical products.
  • Collect and analyze samples to detect any contamination or deviations from established standards.
  • Record and report results, including any deviations or discrepancies, to management and quality control teams.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of environmental monitoring procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in microbiology, biology, or related field preferred.
  • One year of experience in a laboratory setting or manufacturing environment, with a focus on microbiology.
  • Knowledge of aseptic technique and ability to maintain gowning qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of MS-Office software and PC skills required.

Working Environment:

The Environmental Monitoring Technician II will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to chemicals, cleaning agents, and other hazardous materials. The ability to work in a clean room environment and wear protective gear is required.
