About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Bellevue Downtown. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve Guests with Excellence: Attend to guests in the bar, restaurant, and room service areas, ensuring a high level of service and attention to detail.
  • Mixology Expertise: Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, using fresh ingredients and following established recipes.
  • Food Service: Serve food prepared in the restaurant as needed, ensuring that guests receive their orders promptly and accurately.
  • Flexibility and Creativity: Offer flexibility and creativity to meet guest requests, while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Payment and Cash Handling: Complete guest orders and accurately collect payments, handling cash and credit transactions with precision.
  • Bar Maintenance: Clean and wash barware, utensils, and the bar area, restocking and prepping bar items as needed.
  • Quality and Cleanliness: Assist with maintaining the quality, cleanliness, and organization of the bar, restaurant, and kitchen areas.
  • Inventory and Ordering: Assist with inventory, ordering, and receiving of all food and beverage items, ensuring that the bar is well-stocked and prepared for guest needs.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous food and beverage and/or serving experience is required, with some locations requiring bartending experience specifically.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to read, write, type, and use basic technology.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to stand and move around for an entire shift, with the capacity to lift at least 25 pounds.
  • Permits and Certifications: The ability to obtain a Food Handlers Permit and Alcohol Servers Permit is required.
  • Availability: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
