About the Role

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join their team in Fort Worth, Texas.

This is a full-time position with a standard weekly schedule of 40 hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and distribution of medical equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in the distribution of OR supplies, trays, and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to environmental policies and traffic control.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and effective processing of medical equipment.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of experience as an instrument technician or related job experience in a hospital, clinic, or medical laboratory.
  • Certification by CBSPD or HSPA is mandatory.
  • Current Heart Saver Certification within 30 days of hire and must be maintained.
