Endocrinology Faculty Position at the University of Wisconsin

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Endocrinology Faculty Member to join our esteemed Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. This role is designed for those who are passionate about advancing the field of endocrinology through clinical practice, education, and research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient care at designated healthcare facilities, while also providing educational mentorship to medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Engage in collaborative research initiatives aimed at exploring critical areas such as diabetes biology, endocrine disorders, and metabolic health.
- Participate in teaching and leadership opportunities within the medical school and residency programs.
- Contribute to the establishment of a new center focused on Thyroid, Parathyroid, and Adrenal health, in partnership with endocrine surgery.
- Potentially assume the role of Director of Diabetes Care, overseeing clinical diabetes management and quality improvement efforts across various settings.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree with eligibility for a medical license in Wisconsin.
- Completion of an Endocrinology fellowship and certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM) in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
- Demonstrated professionalism along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Extensive clinical experience in either community or academic settings is preferred.
