Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RN Quality Coordinator to join our team at HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital. As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that we provide the highest level of care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the collection, evaluation, and dissemination of performance data related to specified quality improvement programs.
  • Abstract and analyze data for the Core Measures, FMQAI project, and other assigned patient care outcome initiatives.
  • Coordinate Performance Improvement Committees/Teams, including meeting preparation, setting agendas, writing minutes, and ensuring follow-up.
  • Prepare physician reappointment quality profiles and other physician-related performance improvement projects as assigned.
  • Facilitate assigned process improvement initiatives using problem-solving methodology, root cause analysis, and/or Failure, Mode, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
  • Maintain proactive and effective communication with all members of the departmental team, communicating any service concerns to the director immediately.
Qualifications
  • Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Completion of RN Diploma program or related healthcare program.
  • One to three years of recent experience within an acute clinical practice or related healthcare position.
