Job Summary:

Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our team. As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for performing routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes under direct supervision. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform machine and/or manual assembly tasks, including scope, soldering, and computer work.
  • Accurately read and follow procedures, routing, and other work instructions.
  • Take ownership of accuracy of processes and meet internal and external customer deadlines.
  • Build parts that meet drawing specifications and comply with applicable elements of quality systems (ACE).
  • Participate in cost reduction plans, waste minimization efforts, and audits.

Requirements:
  • Typically requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. In the absence of a diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder.
  • Must be available to work 3rd shift.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and assembly instructions.
  • Highly motivated and dedicated to exceed customer expectations.
