Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at Omnicell Specialty Pharmacy Services (OSPS). As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing new client implementations and key initiatives, ensuring timely, within-budget, and within-scope delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to define business initiatives and requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and adopt project management tools and practices within our division.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and measure success initiatives.
  • Manage project timelines, scope, resources, and revenue forecasting according to workplans and contractual commitments.
  • Proactively manage project risks and issues, facilitating challenging conversations with customers and leadership.
  • Gather information for business initiative definition and requirements.
  • Serve as the operational point of contact for various projects to drive project execution.
  • Document and communicate project status and changes in project scope, record contingency plans for risks and issues, and ensure accurate and secure management of project artifacts.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methodology, tools, and practices.
  • Mentor other Project Managers through onboarding, customer relationship management, and project management best practices.
  • Up to 25% travel, working across multiple time zones, and extended hours in front of a computer and using video technology.
  • Ability to support work during non-business hours, including weekends and holidays as customer needs dictate.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, including a minimum of five years' project management experience.
  • Experience in managing multi-solution, multi-year projects, and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience managing large or complex projects in healthcare-related organizations, a Master's degree in Business, Science, or Healthcare Administration, and strong analytical and project management skills.

  • Strong analytical and project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Ability to elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirement workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to direct multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and ability to build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to assess process efficiency and implement process improvement, work collaboratively and align team to achieve corporate initiatives, and adapt to change and support and promote others to adapt and embrace new ways of doing things.
  • Able to challenge the status quo and contribute to the implementation of best practices, comprehend federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to the practice of pharmacy, and proficiency with workflow concepts relating to the practice and operation of a retail pharmacy.
