Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Nephrology Physician to join our team at Optum NY/NJ. As a Nephrologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with kidney disease, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various conditions. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care and contribute to the development of our nephrology program.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients with kidney disease, including acute and chronic kidney failure, hypertension, and electrolyte disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with kidney disease, including medications, dialysis, and surgery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with kidney disease.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in nephrology.
Requirements:
- Board certification in Nephrology.
- Current New York State Medical License.
- Current DEA certificate.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
