We are seeking a highly skilled Nephrology Physician to join our team at Optum NY in Newburgh, NY. As a member of our care delivery team, you will be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.
About the OpportunityThis is a unique opportunity to join a well-established, state-of-the-art nephrology practice serving patients throughout Orange County, Hudson Valley, and the lower Catskills. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and is committed to advancing the health of our community.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive testing and treatment of nephrological disorders
- Diagnose and treat all aspects of kidney disease, including acute renal failure, chronic kidney disease, kidney stones, hypertension, hemodialysis, renal transplant, and electrolyte disorders
- Consult with patients about the status of their health and provide them with the latest advancements in care
- Refer patients to advanced specialists as needed
- Maintain appropriate medical records and results

- BC/BE in Nephrology
- Unrestricted New York State Medical License (or ability to obtain)
- Current New York State DEA certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
