About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary team at Sandia Ridge Center in Albuquerque, NM. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and achieving positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver efficient and effective nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Evaluate patients to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition to the healthcare team.
  • Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with established standards and protocols.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing
  • Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure
  • Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing preferred
  • Maintain current BLS/CPR certification
