About the Job

We're seeking an experienced Lean Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production site team, you'll play a crucial role in driving efficiency and improving product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize manufacturing processes and workflow to ensure efficient production based on customer prints.
  • Assist in a production changeover from China to either Thailand or Vietnam.
  • Spearhead projects centered around LEAN/CI initiatives to reduce production costs and material waste.
  • Sourcing materials or machinery.
  • Troubleshoot production issues as needed.
  • Work across different teams, including quality control and design.
  • Assist in quoting activities based on customer requests.
  • Design and implement fixtures and jigs to be implemented into production.
  • Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for process improvement.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with an injection molding background.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, focusing on time management and budget constraints.
  • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A base salary of $80,000 - $95,000 depending on level of experience.
  • A discretionary bonus based on company performance (averaging $10,000).
