Key Responsibilities
Device Repair and Technical Duties
- Perform repairs on mobile devices and electronic gadgets, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Replace damaged screens, batteries, and essential components on various devices.
- Rebuild rechargeable battery packs and other power sources as required.
- Repair and replace parts on lamps and other lighting fixtures.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory through regular cycle counts.
- Ensure proper rotation and stocking of repair inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Cut keys and reprogram key fob remotes as necessary.
Customer Interaction and Sales
- Welcome customers, assess their needs, and provide informed answers to inquiries.
- Recommend additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Communicate transparently with customers regarding repair processes and timelines.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and problem resolution; escalate issues to management when appropriate.
- Identify potential commercial clients through effective questioning.
- Process sales transactions accurately using a computer or cash register.
- Monitor for loss prevention concerns and report any suspicious activities.
- Exhibit a customer-first approach in all interactions.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience is preferred. An Associate's degree in electronics or a related technical field is a plus.
- 3-6 months of experience in device repair, demonstrating technical proficiency.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in decision-making.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently on routine tasks.
- Effective listening and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
This position involves various physical demands, including:
- Regular use of hands for handling electronic devices, standing, walking, and sitting.
- Occasional lifting of weights ranging from 10-50 pounds.
- Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and electrical hazards in a moderate noise environment.
- Utilization of hand tools, testing equipment, and safety gear as required.
Protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes will be provided as necessary.
