About the Role:The Lead Counselor will supervise youth counselors and provide educational and personal counseling, guidance, and assessment services to cadets at YCA Ft. Eisenhower. You will assist in the social, emotional, educational, and vocational development of cadets who exhibit complex personal problems and adjustment difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise youth counselors and provide guidance and support
- Provide educational and personal counseling services to cadets
- Assist in the development of life skills and coordination of supplemental student activities
- Participate in extracurricular activities as needed
- Master's degree in education, counseling, or a related field
- Two years of professional experience in social work, counseling, or equivalent areas
- Preference given to those with licensure as a professional counselor
