Cloud Computing Architect Role

At Booz Allen Hamilton, we're seeking a skilled Cloud Computing Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Computing Architect, you'll play a crucial role in helping our clients harness the power of cloud computing to modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop architecture drawings to support on-premises to cloud migration strategies
  • Articulate and brief cloud adoption and support cultural change associated with cloud infrastructure
  • Design and implement cloud management and monitoring solutions
  • Review, recommend, and develop on-premise and cloud resource mappings
  • Recommend and implement cloud change management best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with cloud edge technologies, such as Azure Stack

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud computing architecture
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud adoption and cultural change
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud management and monitoring
  • 5+ years of experience in on-premise and cloud resource mappings
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional Certification
  • IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, Windows OS, or CCNA Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
