The Nutritional Support Specialist plays a vital role in assisting with various dietary operations as per the directives and in alignment with established culinary policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the timely serving of meals as required.
  2. Ensure food is served according to established portion control guidelines.
  3. Participate in routine or scheduled cleaning tasks.
  4. Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, meat preparation areas, and storage units.
  5. Perform floor maintenance including sweeping and mopping as instructed.
  6. Transport soiled utensils to the washing area.
  7. Return sanitized utensils to their designated storage locations.
  8. Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils as directed.
  9. Manage waste disposal and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  10. Prepare meal trays, food carts, and dining areas as per instructions.
  11. Assist the culinary team in meal preparation.
  12. Distribute and collect menu selections as needed.
  13. Deliver food carts and trays to specified locations.
  14. Clear food trays from dining areas and transport them to the dishwashing area.
  15. Prepare and deliver snacks as directed.
  16. Help maintain food storage areas in an organized and hygienic manner.
  17. Dispose of food waste in accordance with established guidelines.
  18. Assist in the preparation of special meals for events.

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
