Position Overview:

  • Our Mortgage Consultants support members and prospective members with their Credit Union requirements.
  • Deliver account details via phone or in-person, along with comprehensive information on the full spectrum of credit union offerings.
  • Facilitate account openings for members, conduct interviews, and adeptly manage the daily needs of our members.
  • Tasked with interviewing and assessing applicants for standard loans and processing loan requests.
  • Collect background data and evaluate the credit history of loan applicants.
  • Our Mortgage Consultants offer a range of transaction services to members, including loan processing, finalization, and disbursement.
  • Achieve minimum performance benchmarks concerning referrals, sales, production, and quality assurance. Attractive incentive program available.

Qualifications:

Mortgage Consultant Experience: Six months to two years of relevant experience preferred.

Mortgage Consultant Education: College degree is preferred.

Mortgage Consultant Interpersonal Skills: A high degree of trust and diplomacy is essential, along with standard courtesy and tact. The role involves significant personal interaction with others and often deals with sensitive matters.
