Job Summary

The Electrician is responsible for performing general electrical maintenance on the operation fleet, equipment, and fixtures. This includes a thorough understanding of AC and DC circuits, electrical schematics, pressure switches, and PLC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment, including components installed on oilfield and well control equipment.
  • Perform work on specialized oilfield equipment.
  • Perform repairs in the field on mobile equipment.
  • Fulfill on-call responsibilities.
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits.
  • Perform visual and functional inspections and associated checklists.
  • Record jobs and inspections using Emaint work order system.
  • Provide support and work closely with the DWS Snubwell team.
  • Other projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of electrical work experience, including generator, light plant repair, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of 12V and 24V systems.
  • Previous experience with I/III phase motors/components.
  • Knowledge of Class 1 DIV 1 fixtures and components.
  • Knowledge of accumulator charging systems.
  • Computer skills an asset.

Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
