Hospital Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospital Dietitian to join our team at the County of San Bernardino, CA. As a Hospital Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutritional care and support to patients, their families, and caregivers.

The Hospital Dietitian will work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized nutrition plans, provide education and counseling on healthy eating habits, and conduct nutritional assessments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

• Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized nutrition plans for patients
• Provide education and counseling on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement nutrition-related policies and procedures
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest nutrition-related research and best practices
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services

• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Hospital Dietitian
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
