Medical Care Specialist

At ICAN Inc, we offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year for our Registered Nurse position. As a key member of our team, you will provide medical care and support to youth ages 10-17 in a short-term, therapeutic residential program.
About the Role
- You will conduct medical assessments, manage medications, maintain documentation, and participate in treatment planning.
- You will engage with youth and families to understand their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- You will coordinate with outside medical professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- You will demonstrate a strength-based approach and Trauma Informed Care principles in your interactions with youth and families.
Requirements
- Must be a NYS Licensed Registered Nurse with at least 1-3 years of nursing experience, preferably within a behavioral health setting.
- Valid New York State driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- All staff must be cleared with the New York State Central Registry, New York State Justice Center, and complete a background check/fingering printing.
