Job Title: Adult Recovery Unit Director

True Team Medical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Recovery Unit Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the management and operation of the Adult Recovery Unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical guidance and supervision to a diverse team of nurses and CMHA staff, promoting excellence in patient care delivery.
  • Ensure the smooth and safe operation of the Adult Recovery Unit, including direct supervision of staff, adherence to licensure standards, and implementation of health and safety protocols.
  • Enforce unit policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with state and federal regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Manage staffing levels effectively, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation of staff, while coordinating the scheduling of facility-based crisis services staff.
  • Provide continuous education, training, and mentorship to unit staff, enhancing their clinical skills and competence in caring for patients with mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Compliance, Quality departments, and ACS Senior Leadership to monitor and analyze clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction data, and compliance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and methodologies aimed at enhancing patient safety, satisfaction, and overall outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including hospitals, physicians, law enforcement, community agencies, and families to deliver high-quality services and foster a recovery-focused, person-centered environment.
  • Receive clinical direction from the ACS Medical Director and collaborate with other members of the ACS Provider team to ensure effective operation of the ARU.
  • Participate in the on-call system and provide backup support during staff shortages.
  • Manage budget expenditures for supplies and ancillary staffing for the ARU, ensuring adherence to financial parameters.
