Key Responsibilities- Design and develop high-performance PHY circuits, collaborating with Platform Architecture, Logic Designers, SIPI, Layout, DV and Timing Teams.
- Work with Layout Teams on the physical implementation of industry-leading PHY designs.
- Develop transistor-level Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Designs, ensuring optimal performance, power, and area specifications.
- Participate in establishing Design Methodologies to ensure correct, by construction designs.
- Proven understanding of all aspects of Analog/Mixed Signal Circuit Design of PHYs, including TX, RX, Delay Locked Loops, Phase Interpolators, Delay Lines, Duty Cycle Correctors, and reference generators.
- Knowledge of Basic SoC Architecture and HDL languages like Verilog to collaborate with logic design teams.
- Solid understanding of Circuit Verification tools, including Simulators, Extraction, EMIR, Noise, SigEM, etc.
- Ability to generate block/chip level specifications and perform block level verification to close the design.
BS degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Compensation and BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
