Remote-First Opportunity: This role is predominantly remote, with occasional requirements for in-office presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, operate, and sustain essential network environments, platforms, and services at scale.
- Diagnose and resolve network-related challenges, including conducting root cause analysis.
- Offer after-hours on-call support and assist with implementations outside regular hours.
- Apply enterprise network management methodologies for extensive deployments.
- Advocate for network standards, reference architectures, and frameworks.
- Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in enterprise networking.
- Understanding of secure network architectures and compliance with security standards.
- Familiarity with networking technology providers such as Cisco, Aruba, Zscaler, and Palo Alto.
- Experience with network security and wireless technologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles, cloud architecture, and Azure DevOps Framework.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language.
- Experience in network performance, capacity, configuration, and fault management.
- Background in change management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in large-scale network environments.
- At least 2 years of experience in architecture and design.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- At least 2 years of experience working with open-source frameworks.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent educational/work experience.
Salary Information:
$66,157,000.00The salary range is intended as a general guideline, taking into account various factors such as role scope, responsibilities, candidate background, education, market conditions, and business considerations.
