Software Engineer, FPGA Team

DRW is a leading trading firm that leverages sophisticated technology and exceptional talent to operate in global markets. We value autonomy, agility, and innovation, and we're seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our FPGA team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new FPGA applications from scratch, including synthesis, place & route, and static timing analysis.
  • Develop new APIs and optimize low-level code to facilitate software integration.
  • Collaborate with software and design teams to propose creative solutions to overcome FPGA/hardware/software limitations.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 3+ years of experience in the field.
  • Strong hardware engineering experience with a focus on digital design for FPGAs or ASICs.
  • Proficiency in C++ and experience with multi-threaded programming and asynchronous frameworks.
  • Knowledge of UNIX operating systems and system performance concerns.
  • Experience with RTL logic design (Verilog and System Verilog) and verification.
  • Experience with FPGA design flow, including synthesis, place & route, and static timing analysis.
