Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Maui, Hawaii.

About the Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes. As a COTA, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence and improve the overall quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, and ADL and IADL performance.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.
  • Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to patient care management and services provided.
Requirements:
  • Be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in HI.
  • Have at least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist.
  • Be willing to travel in assigned territory.
