**About the Role**

Our client, a reputable and expanding specialty marine services company, is seeking an experienced project manager or naval architect to support their growing portfolio of new construction and existing vessel modification projects. **Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead design, construction, repair, and operation of marine vessels with a strong background in naval architecture, marine engineering, or related fields.
  • Develop and implement vessel classification and regulatory expertise in the marine industry.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and 3D structural design software, such as RISA 3D, SolidWorks, or Inventor, to create detailed designs and models.
  • Apply knowledge of hydrodynamic software, including MOSES, WAMIT, or similar FEA and CFD tools, to optimize vessel performance.
  • Travel to shipyards or ride vessels to conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Possess a valid TWIC card or be able to obtain one.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in design, construction, repair, and operation of marine vessels.
  • Strong understanding of vessel classification and regulatory requirements in the marine industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D structural design software.
  • Experience with hydrodynamic software, such as MOSES, WAMIT, or similar FEA and CFD tools, is highly desirable.
