About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dialysis center.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Perform various duties, such as testing water for chlorine, calibrating tools, and setting up hemodialysis machines
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, providing education and support on kidney dialysis-related topics
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Ability to lift minimum of 5 pounds to a maximum of 50 pounds unassisted
  • Flexibility and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Healthcare experience preferred, including certifications such as BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
