CYNWAVE Solutions is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Ground Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating walking and riding mowers to maintain lawns.
  • Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
  • Trimming hedges and edges around pathways, flowerbeds, and walls using various tools such as hedge trimmers and electric weed cutters.
  • Pruning shrubs and trees to promote healthy growth.
  • Planting grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs.
  • Watering lawns and shrubs during dry spells, utilizing hoses or sprinkler systems.
  • Collecting and disposing of leaves, paper, and other debris.
  • Removing snow from walkways and parking areas using shovels and snow blowers.
  • Spreading salt on walkways and other surfaces as needed.
  • Assisting in the repair of roads, pathways, buildings, and mechanical equipment.
Additional Duties

Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Knowledge of lawn equipment operation is preferred.
  • A valid state driver's license.
  • Capability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
Physical Requirements

The role requires:

  • Lifting and carrying groundskeeping supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Prolonged walking or standing, frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
  • A full range of physical motion to operate groundskeeping equipment.
  • Accessing facilities that may require climbing stairs or ladders up to 20 feet.
  • Working primarily outdoors throughout the year.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Shift: Shift work may be necessary
