Auto Body Technician

About The Role
The Auto Body Technician will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through the meticulous assessment and quality repair of each customer's vehicle to restore it back to pre-accident condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent execution of quality and customer excellence.
- Plan and execute repair work, preparing cost estimates for customers.
- Repair sections of a vehicle using various tools, including cutting guns, plasma cutters, and hammers.
- Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
- Remove and replace damaged vehicle sections with new or aftermarket parts.
- Replaces or repairs glass and windshields as needed.
- Repair interior parts as needed.
- Weld and attach parts into place, preparing vehicles for repainting.
- Attempt to complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
- Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure accuracy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
- Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.
