Job Description

At GEO Reentry Services, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our clinical program, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and review of the Unit Management treatment model, supervising staff, and monitoring and approving records, treatment plans, and counselor logs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with standard Company policies and procedures in the assigned units.
  • Provide and document supervision sessions for staff and residents under their supervision regarding their developmental skills and progress.
  • Conduct all essential functions of a Program Counselor Case Manager, including intake, assessment, counseling, case management, documentation, and crisis intervention.
  • Work directly with the Case Manager Supervisor to oversee and address resident behavior, as well as the general maintenance of safety and security on the unit.
  • Review and audit clinical charts assigned to clinical staff on duty.
  • Present curriculum lectures and groups as directed.
  • Conduct weekly Clinical Intervention Committee meetings (CIC).
  • Train Case Managers in their duties and provide constructive feedback as needed to promote employee development of necessary clinical skill sets.
  • Ensure all activities of the clinical program during the assigned shift are performed.
  • Provide assistance as a Case Manager to carry a small caseload when needed.
  • Act in the role of Case Manager Supervisor when directed.
  • Supervise all Case Manager activities.
  • Provide disciplinary or coaching sessions to Case Managers.
  • Oversee security check points and resident movement.
  • Maintain precise resident headcount.
  • Monitor resident reception and discharge activity, including resident file maintenance.
  • Maintain a substance abuse tracking system for resident drug screenings.
  • Conduct operation Case Manager 90-days progress reports and annual performance reviews.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Case Managers.
  • Keep staff informed of upcoming events and Company initiatives.
  • Participate in mandatory company training programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree and/or CADC certification preferred.
  • Three (3) years of experience in management, supervision, and service delivery in a corrections or long-term residential environment.
  • Knowledge of the field of addictions or mental health counseling preferred.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and organize skills.
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime is mandatory for this position.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
