Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Non-Destructive Technician with Level II or Level III Certification to join our team as an Instructor at Universal Technical Institute. As a NDT Automation Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the minds and skills of our students, imparting your expert knowledge in electromechanical systems and components.

Responsibilities
  • Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students can flourish, fostering their passion for robotics and automation.
  • Lead by example and provide practical demonstrations, ensuring students gain real-world experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various systems.
  • Collaborate with our education team to enhance existing courses and develop new ones that align with industry trends and advancements.
  • Guide and mentor students on their individual projects, encouraging them to think critically and find innovative solutions.
  • Instill the importance of safety procedures and best practices to ensure a secure working environment for students.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years of practical work experience in the field, including skills such as AC/DC electricity, digital electronics, ASNT Level II or Level III, Non-Destructive testing, Quality Inspection, Control and Quality Assurance, and Industrial mechanics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively connect with students and fellow staff.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to teaching, understanding that every student learns at their own pace.
