**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Community Health Systems. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain high-quality images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and operate console and peripheral hardware.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in area of specialty.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).
